BBB services include: Business Profiles; Charity Reports; Consumer Complaints and Reviews; Dispute Resolution; Scam Tracker(SM) reports; and Consumer and Business tips and resources. In 2018, BBB Serving Metropolitan New York received 6.45 million inquiries for information about businesses, handled over 53,600 complaints, and reported over 44,200 complaints from consumers about businesses. People turned to BBB more than 173 million times for BBB Business Profiles on more than 5.4 million businesses and Charity Reports on 11,000 charities in 2018, all available for free at BBB.org.
